Words can be hurtful; but, they can also be loving, encouraging, kind and inspiring. They are how we express our thoughts and emotions, anger or joy, sorrow and pain, love, understanding, empathy, pride, what we think and how we feel.

And I also have to ask...what's ya turtles name!? So cute. Went to Maui (if I knew then that that would be one of the few vacations I could ever afford to take -I would have gone someplace else! ;p ) Anyway-went to Sea World there (weird, I know!) but the most kickass exhibit of the fab creatures -the sea turtles! Used a whole roll of film (back in the day of literal film! I feel so old!) on them! I must know ya turtles name! You have so many fuzzies! It was all...aww! Fuzzies! Have ya seen Miss T's little fuzzies too??
Anyway, long comment much! Clearly I am just up dicking around -far too late in the morning! Anyway -hope ya good Wendy 6!

My turtle's name in JUMPS. What a name, eh? I can neither the credit nor the blame for her name. She was my nieces turtle UNTIL my niece decided it was too much trouble to take care of the aquarium. Of course, Jumps was just a tiny little thing at that time! She's HUGE now!
I 'inherited' another turtle last month. His name is Henry! I must get a picture of him too!

Very nice Wendy. Good job! and that would be "The Band" Kansas.I appreciate their interest...but sounds like one of those 500.00 a week plus expenses kind of gigs with a "use To Be" band. Not sure I want to spend the next months of my life living out of a bus playing bars around the country. They did mention to me that the name is in some kind of litigation due to the fact that some minor member of the band is illegally using it to tour....hmmmm...sounds like a big mess to me. Not to mention I'm not really a big Kansas fan.
I'm sure I'll find out more in the coming weeks...they will have to make it worth my while......VERY worth my while.

It was good at the coast, we had quality time.
We talked about dad and what he would be saying if he was there with us.
We threw the doughnuts to the seagulls at the same spot where we scattered his ashes. We do this every year.
My mum is convinced that at least one of the seagulls is the reincarnation of dad come to get some of the doughnuts he so loved.

I had Spudz and Tuck. I am very original. They were tiny tiny tiny when I got them! And they didn't make it. Crushed me so! But, sometimes -I think (at least when I was a teen, I take no responsibilty for any demise near me at my current age! I mean it!) I was just a little too...I mean to say, I loved rather hard sometimes! O_o But I loved my little baby turtles while I had them! My pup Really did too! As did my kitties at the time -they all kept trying to eat them! -Acutally, that might explain some things...eew.

Hey, Wendy! I finally got to see the pics, and wow! What a great family album! It really makes you feel closer to someone to see the family, friends (furry, shelled and non) of that person.
Is the little boy your nephew? Because he looks a lot like you. All of you are just beautiful!

I read your good morning post as always today and loved the calming way you have with words. There are days I wish so badly for everything to be like it used to be, and even though it will never be, it still hurts.

It's like yesterday there i think, so if its the 3rd here, then its still the 2nd there, I'm so confused!!!!
Now i know how my friends felt while i was over there, i would argue about the date, it was like i was living in the past.
Or they were in the future...OK now I'm confused again!!
Let's just drop it, for now!
Anyway, i always tell fokes to love there family and i can see from all the smiles, you have done just that!
I know you thought this new guy is who i was talking about being my soul mate, but he died four years ago, but it still seems like yesterday.
And the new guy is not really new, i have been around him, here and there for a few years, but this was the first time we have been on the same circuit around Europe, most of the time when they are in the states, we are in Europe and vice a versa.
What counts is we got to know more about each other and it lasted more than 5 minutes, and i had heard he had a drinking problem, but he is sober now, and really not the ass everyone had been telling me he was.
Point is Windy, i like this guy way too much for my own good, I'm just scared i guess!
I wrote a poem about it, I'm posting on my blog tonight, gives some insight into what I'm feeling right now, i just hate how i have to delete so much of my life, when i just wish it could all be out there for everyone to see all the time.
